FAQs
Do you see clients outside of Arizona or the U.S.?
Yes! My entire practice is virtual, allowing me to work with clients worldwide. However, please note that I am only licensed as a naturopathic doctor in the state of Arizona. If you reside outside Arizona or the U.S., I can provide health consulting services, but I cannot act as your licensed doctor due to regulatory guidelines.
Do you accept insurance?
My practice operates on a cash-based model, meaning I do not accept insurance. However, I do accept HSA and FSA cards. Additionally, insurance may cover lab tests I order or prescriptions when applicable. Unfortunately, most insurance plans do not cover integrative medicine at this time.
Many clients find working with me to be a worthwhile investment, saving both time and money by addressing the root cause of their symptoms rather than relying on trial-and-error approaches. While many successfully use their HSA/FSA for my services, I cannot guarantee coverage.
I’ve worked with other naturopathic doctors, Functional medicine Practitoners, nutritionists, ETC. without success. What makes this different?
I understand your frustration, many of my clients come to me after years of struggling with chronic illness and feeling like nothing works. What sets my approach apart is that I focus on uncovering the root causes of chronic conditions, rather than applying generalized protocols.
Chronic illness often requires more than surface-level solutions. Many practitioners use a one-size-fits-all approach, which overlooks the unique factors contributing to your health issues. My work is completely personalized, I take the time to thoroughly evaluate your history, symptoms, and test results to create a plan specifically tailored to your case.
I also focus on sustainable change, ensuring you understand why we’re taking certain steps. Chronic conditions often stem from complex and interconnected issues, and I work tirelessly to address those complexities. If something isn’t immediately clear, I investigate further to find the answers you need.
This approach isn’t about throwing countless solutions at the wall and hoping one works. It’s about developing a personalized strategy that targets the root cause, providing you with lasting relief from your chronic illness.
How long will it take to notice results for chronic fatigue or chronic illness?
The timeline for results varies greatly depending on your unique case and the underlying imbalances we need to address. Factors like the severity of your symptoms, consistency with foundational health practices, history of medication use, stress levels, and how well your drainage and detox pathways function all play a role in how quickly you’ll notice improvements.
Holistic healing is not a quick fix, and there’s no guaranteed timeline for results. Think of it like building fitness, you wouldn’t expect to see dramatic changes in your strength or endurance after just a couple of weeks at the gym. The same applies to managing chronic fatigue or chronic illness.
That said, many clients begin to notice improvements, such as reduced inflammation and better energy levels, within 3–4 weeks. However, for long-term, sustainable progress, especially with chronic conditions, a minimum of 6 months is often necessary to allow your body the time it needs to heal and rebuild.
Healing is an individual journey, and your timeline will be as unique as your case. My goal is to help you feel better as quickly as possible while building lasting results over time.
What happens after the program ends?
After the program ends, you can start a monthly subscription for $125 per month. This includes a 45-minute follow-up appointment each month and unlimited email support for ongoing inquiries. Any additional labs or testing will be billed separately.
For those who want to dive deeper, I also offer an extended continuity program. This allows us to repeat testing, track progress, and continue refining your plan to support your long-term health and wellness goals.
What is your cancellation & Refund policy?
We value your time and ours, and we are committed to providing highly personalized care. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment will not be accommodated, and the session will be forfeited. For packages and prepaid consultations, there are no refunds or exchanges due to the individualized nature of the services and the significant time and expertise dedicated to your case. If you decide not to utilize the services after purchasing a package, your investment cannot be refunded. This policy helps ensure fairness and allows us to focus our time and energy on clients who are fully committed to their wellness journey.
What Is Functional Genomics?
Functional Genomics focuses on identifying variations in your DNA that influence how your body produces and regulates enzymes, antioxidants, and other vital substances. These variations, called Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs), can impact:
Antioxidant Levels: Protecting your cells and supporting healthy aging.
Free Radical Production: Managing oxidative stress.
Digestion & Nutrient Absorption: Optimizing your body's ability to break down and utilize macronutrients and micronutrients.
Detoxification Pathways: Improving your body’s ability to remove environmental toxins.
Neurotransmitter Balance: Enhancing mental health and resilience to stress.
Mitochondrial Function: Supporting energy production and longevity.
Dr. Ross will help you understand where genetic variations may cause imbalances and guide you toward personalized strategies to support your health.
